I'm Tays, a Brazilian visual researcher, creative, and ghostwriter currently based in Barcelona.

My journey in the film industry began in 2014 as an editor’s assistant during my degree in Journalism. I’ve always been driven by curiosity. With this, I explored a wide variety of roles in a production house that led me to a 8-year career as 1st Assistant Director where I collaborated on diverse projects — advertising, feature films, documentaries, TV programs, short films, and music videos.

Some time later I worked as 2nd unit director, and then freelance director at Rebolucion Brazil & Rebolucion UK. In 2022, I moved to London and decided to focus on creative research, developing my writing skills and finding ways to create exciting stories from an unique perspective. Since then, I’ve been collaborating with directors for their treatments, bringing my inputs and fresh ideas for various types of projects. 

I speak and write treatments in Portuguese, English and Spanish.

I’m incredibly passionate about storytelling and visuals, and I’m a firm believer in true collaboration and giving every project my best.

So anyone who is looking for a person that can build moodboards of every single thing, have brainstorming calls, who thinks about the nitty-gritty, who has an incredibly low carbon footprint, or just someone that pets every single dog, then look no further.
